Butterflies & Moths
The word Lepidoptera comes from the Greek words lepis (scale) and pteron (wing).
We know these “scaly winged creatures” as butterflies and moths. I have studied and collected Lepidoptera for many years, and in my publication “What’s a Butterfly? What’s a Moth?” you will find more information about the different species.
